I am Icarus. Falling, falling toward a sea of madness. The winds of confusion brush my face, As my dark fate looms closer. I was like you. Told not to question, to accept. I asked, and flew to close to the truth, Taken there on the wings of curiosity. I asked why. Why we do what we do? Why do we accept? Why is the world this way? Each question bringing more, Bringing me closer to the Sun. I looked in and saw darkness, more questions. The truth brought no light. Who am I? The question that blows by as I fall. That follows me down, into the deep. As I learn not to fly, but to swim.
